Open University Course Proposal Form

Thank you for your interest in teaching a class with the Y's Open University.  We are now accepting proposals for Summer and Fall of 2012.  Summer session runs June 1-July 31, Fall runs end of August to mid-December.  The deadline for summer is Monday April 16.  If you don't receive an auto response after submitting your proposal, please call or send an email to make sure we received it.

If we are able to offer your class, we will send a course confirmation via email for you to review.  The course confirmation will spell out all your class details - dates, times and payment or volunteer status.  For more information on teaching for Open U, check out our FAQ's page.

Please note:  Instructors agree to refrain from advertising or selling products or services while they are teaching classes for Open University.  By submitting this form you agree to this policy.
