The YMCA provides the community with opportunities to witness and work with our natural world. Please join us for weekend hikes through our beautiful countryside, or come dig with us in "the garden. "
SPRING 2008 HIKE SCHEDULE
ALL Y HIKES are free and open to the public.
Meet at the YMCA Lancaster House, 403 Washington St. SW at 1:30pm, Sunday afternoons, unless otherwise noted.
Hikers may caravan or carpool to the hike site as many trails have very limited parking. Return time is targeted to be 5:00pm.
What to Bring: Water, Snacks, and wear sturdy shoes!

In Little Stoney Creek Valley, the trail ascends a gorge for 2 miles to a picturesque 66 foot waterfall. Trail is gravel and moderate in slope.

Community Gardens
The community gardens are located on Roanoke Street, adjacent to the Westview Cemetary in Blacksburg. Half plots (15 x 20') are $25 and full plots (25 x 25') are $35.
