'RORO dfk

Since 1873, we’ve been dedicated to building community.  Today, we’re nurturing the potential of youth and teens, improving the health and wellbeing of individuals and families and fostering social responsibility throughout the New River Valley. Together, we’ve done a lot of good this year.  In January we celebrated the opening of the Corning Inc. Foundation Pottery Studio, and in partnership with Margaret Beeks Elementary School, we now provide an on-site after school academic enrichment program for youth in grades K-5.  This fall, volunteers supporting Neighborhood Harvest picked more than a ton of apples that were donated to local food banks for families in need.  2012 will bring new opportunities for youth, families and individuals to learn, grow and thrive with the Y.  Join us in supporting and building community throughout the New River Since 1873, we've been dedicated to building community.  Today we're nuturing the potentials of youths and teens, improving health and wellbeing of individuals and families and fostering social responsibility throughout the New Rive Valley.
