YMCA AT VIRGINIA TECH
Y MEMBERSHIPS IN 2011

Dear Y Member,

Thank you for choosing to become a valued member of the YMCA at Virginia Tech in 2010.  Together, we have had a lasting impact in the lives of children, families and individuals throughout the New River Valley.  As the Y’s programs and services evolve to meet the changing needs of our community, we have made a number of changes in our membership structure and wanted to ensure you were informed, and continue to support the Y’s important cause:  strengthening the foundations of our communities.

Effective May 1, 2011, Basic, Gold and Sustaining Memberships as outlined in 2010, will transition to compliment the Y’s new Donor Giving Levels; purchase or renewal of these memberships will no longer be available.  As you review our new donor recognition program, we hope that you will find making a gift and supporting the Y to be convenient, and the benefits to investing in the mission of our organization to be rewarding.

Individual and family memberships are still available for the Waldron Family Y, providing access to health and wellness programs for individuals, youth and families.

We appreciate your dedicated support of the Y and invite you to join us as an advocate and donor during the 2011 Strong Communities Campaign which was kicked off on March 25, 2011.  To learn more about the Y’s annual campaign and to make a gift today, please click here

Thank you for your patience as we make this important transition and please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, or to discuss your involvement with the Y.  I can be reached at (540) 961-9622 or via email at sarah@vtymca.org.

Warm regards,

Sarah Hanks
