Membership Information

The YMCA at Virginia Tech offers several types of memberships, Y Sustaining Membership, Y Community Program Membership and Y Facility Membership. Y Memberships are a great way to support our community outreach and leadership development programs while enjoying discounts on purchases at the Y Thrift Store, discounts on Open University classes, and access to the Waldron Family Y.

A sustaining membership supports the operation of the Y programs throughout the New River Valley. Sustaining Memberships begin at $125 and include the following benefits:

Donations of all levels $125 and above may be considered Sustaining Members. An easy way to become a Sustaining Member is through our "2010 We Build Community Campagin". With a gift of $20.10 a month, you can give back to your community and make a difference to the thousands of residents we serve each year!

Donors over $125 may choose be be a Sustaining Member and receive the above benefits, or simply request to be acknowledged as a donor.

A program membership encourages you and your family to take advantage of the many Y Programs. From finding a great treasure at the Y Thrift Store to taking and Open University class, the Y Community program membership has something for everyone.

The Corporate Community Membership requires no financial commitment, though a company is encouraged to subsidize part or all of an employee's membership dues. All you need is five employees to join!
