The Y Thrift Shops are a great place to shop and donate your gently used clothing, furniture, books, housewares, electronics and more! 

Our thrift shops in Blacksburg and Radford accept all household items that are then sold and recycled directly back into our community. All proceeds from your donations remain local and support student and community programs within the NRV.

Check out the Y's Book Section.  We have the largest collection of used books in the region.  Children’s, mystery, fiction, textbooks...you'll find it at the Y Thrift Shops.

Did you know the Y Thrift Shops are a major recycler?  Each year, in addition to sold clothing, we send over 50 TONS of textiles out for recycling! 

WHERE DO THE DONATIONS GO?
All donations are sold in the Y Thrift Shops, sent out for textiling (recycling), or re-donated to other non-profits in the area.
